Dear Joanne and Bobbie and Family. I am touched to see the vibrant picture of Ronnie as a grown man as I have not seen him since he was a child. Yet, my memory of him as a loving, joyful, engaging ‘little brother’ also shines through this picture of him as an adult. I’m sure your journey together is a blessing, and your loss great. I send condolences from Victoria and also on behalf of my Mom who read me the Obituary from the Herald last night. He is remembered fondly and I have often thought of him and you over the years. Your Mom remains an inspiration, and Ronnie too.
We wish to forward our condolences to the families of the Gooders’ Plants’ and Wyborns’ on the passing of Ron. He looks so distinguished in the picture in The Calgary Herald! It has been many years since we have seen Ron, but we have always been very fond of him. Ron especially liked the family-get-togethers and now you have another get-together in order to celebrate his life.
Love to all of you
Mary Kay & Larry Robert, Dara Gooder & family

And all of us whom he touched with laughter too
Our thoughts are with you and all that join hands in praise of his courageous soul.
Dearest Joanne & family;
We feel so blessed to have been given the privilege and honour of having known Ronnie. He enriched our lives in many ways and we will always remember his wonderful smile and amazingly positive outlook on life!
Although he is gone, Ronnie will always remain in our hearts.

Dear Bobbie & Joanne;
Our heartfelt condolences from California and Calgary. Don Ichino and sister Sheila grew up in that close & friendly neighborhood in South Lethbridge in the 50s and 60s. The Gooder, Shoemaker, Black, House, Matsunaga, Fooks, Williamson nostalgically come to mind. Ronnie and I played in the streets and alleys nearly every day. I cherish those days as no doubt we all do. I never knew the boy who became the man was loved by so many. With your families’ support, I’m sure Ronnie lived a full and happy life.
With Fondest Memories,
Don Ichino
