  2. Michael Stuart :

My sincere condolences to Treva and Brenda, and all who knew this wonderful man. My father Tom and I only met Bill at the Fanning, during the last year of his life, but he became a good friend of my father and mine, and added immeasurably to my father’s life, until his passing a few days ago. Bill and Tom shared many things: they were both engineers; both had worked for Gulf Oil; both enjoyed electronic golf, which they played for hours together; and both went to classes at the Fanning together. They were such good companions. I also enjoyed my conversations with Bill, who shared dinner with us many Sunday nights. My father’s comment after Bill’s passing expressed what we both felt- “I feel like I have lost a brother”. That was the effect your wonderful husband and father had on all those he met. He was a very cheerful, optomistic, and friendly person, even when he wasn’t feeling well, and a good friend to all who knew him. We mourn the loss of Bill, and thank his family for sharing this special man with us.
