Mal Garvin, a proud Korean War Veteran, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2011 surrounded by his loving children and grandchildren.

A Celebration of Mal’s life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. If friends and family so desire donations can be made directly to the Carewest Sarcee Hospice in Mal’s memory.

    I was very sad to hear about Mal’s passing. Mal came to work for my brother back in the 90’s. He was a warm, sweet and compassionate man. He always had a smile on his face. He would sit in our office and chuckle at all the craziness going on around him. He always spoke fondly about his family – he was very proud!
