It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather on Monday, October 1, 2012.

Jim was born in Pireaus, Greece on October 26, 1929. He immigrated to Calgary in 1956 with his loving wife, Pope, where he started a family and opened his successful shoe making business. 4. Charlotte Kenney (Joo) :

Our condolenses to the Gafos family. Our family knew Jimmy and his family well, having lived in the Sunalta area since 1957. We patronized Jimmy’s Shoe Repair business for many many years and he was the best, always friendly, we had some good chats and his workmanship was outstanding. Thinking about you all at this time.
