Condolence Messages

  1. I am so sorry to hear this news. Nola and I were school friends in Schreiber and although I never met Ken, I send my deepest condolences to you, your family and Nola’s family. Being from a small town we all knew each other and even when we move away we still think of Schreiber as home. Her ashes will be at home there.

Everyone who knew Nola liked her and everyone who railroaded with her admired and respected her consummate skill as a rail traffic controller.
If NFF was ‘pushing the buttons’ it was bound to be a good trip and if it wasn’t, no one could have made it a good one if Nola couldn’t.

Sing sweetly for our God, dear Nola; you’re bound to get an eternity of encores!

I was shocked & deeply saddened to learn of Nola’s passing. I have known Nola for the majority of my life since we grew up together on adjourning streets as kids. As life would have it we ended up working together in the Schreiber Dispatching Office. I will never forget her quick wit & dry humour. She brought many smiles & laughter to our faces. Although words cannot express how truly sorry I am to hear of your loss, please accept my deepest sympathy. Nola had the ability to light up the day, even in the most stressful of situations. I am so happy to have had the opportunity of knowing her and working with her. God Bless!
