Robert (Bob) James Fulton of Calgary, passed away peacefully with family at his side on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at the age of 89 years.
Bob was born in Cranbrook, and grew up in Kimberley, BC. He came to Calgary in 1954 and worked for the City of Calgary as a draftsman, later moving on to work with Gulf Canada until his retirement. Bob loved the outdoors and was a great contributor to the Rocky Mountain Longbow Association. He worked tirelessly for the RMLA and also was key in countless years of the North American Longbow Safari. Bob was a long time member of the Calgary Archers, and actively supported archery in Calgary throughout the past 60 years.
Bob leaves behind his daughter Kathryn (David) Iredale; grandchildren, Robert, Christopher, Brian, Matthew, Nicole; and three great-grandchildren. Bob was predeceased by his beloved wife Elizabeth and his son Michael.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
