Condolence Messages

  1. I’ve known Barbara over twenty years. We were nannies together long ago. She was fearless and lived life to the fullest. The mold was broken after making Barbara. Just knowing Barbara was in this world was a blessing and it’s a lonlier place without her. She is now in the loving embrase of her dad and mom who she missed so much.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences at this time.

  2. Phil Lawrence :

I grew up around the corner from the Fullmer family in Fairview,(Calgary). We also went to
the same ward,1st ward, of the Mormon religion. Barb was my older sisters age. She used to
drive me to Seminary in the mornings. I havn’t been active in the church since I was a teen,
but I am very close to our Heavenly Father. We lost Dad, (Raymond Lawrence), last April &
Mom, (Gwen Lawrence), has been gone for many years. I grieve for them daily, but know that they were in pain here on earth & needed elsewhere by God.
Please accept my deepest condolences, Phil Lawrence.

To Barbra’s dear family members; I was so saddened and shocked by Barbra’s passing, as I had no idea that she was even ill. My daughter Angelica knew, as she visited with Barbra on Facebook. I know that Barbra is happy to be with mom and dad, I knew how terribly unfair and upset she felt that she did not leave this earth with them. I am thankful that she is now at peace and that she is happy for the reunion. I remember all the crazy and funny things she did and her laughter. I ‘m sure when you are altogether that you will discuss and remember all those fun times you had with her all her life. My deepest sympathy for you all. Wish I could be there.
“We live to die. We die to Live.”
    Love Shirley Stanek

  4. Gayla Stanek (Angelica Larmand) :

This is so hard to do, to put into words how much Barb has meant to me all these years. She has always been a great presence in my life, from our childhood to adulthood, even when distance and years separated us. Whenever we would talk or meet up, no matter how long it had been it would feel as if we’d never been apart.
These past several days I have been reminiscing about all the many, many, fun, crazy times & adventures we had together. Jumping on the trampoline, making a fake person out of pantyhose and cloth to ‘scare’ people at a ward function at fish Creek Park(yes we did), going to dances and ‘other places’ together.
I remember one time when we were about 9 or 10 yrs old, sneaking into Carol’s room to “borrow” a couple pairs of high heel wedge shoes. They were so cool, how could we resist? 😀 We then took them outside for a spin, put them on, and ran around the park across the street thinking that we looked, and were, totally awesome!
We had so much fun together over the years, Barb even tried to teach me to drive a stick, without much success hee hee, but I think a big highlight was our road trip to California. We were gone for 2 weeks, checking out Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Tiauana, and Utah (on our way home).
I will always remember Barbara singing “Let Us Oft Speak Kind Words To Each Other” when someone was not being nice or using bad language 🙂 I will miss her fantastic laugh, her sense of humour, and her assertiveness (which always impressed me), and especially her friendship.
I will truly miss her, as I know you all will as well. Barb’s had quite the journey here, and now I am sure she is beginning another.
I so wish that I could be there in person tomorrow, but I will be in spirit. My deep and sincere condolences for all of you. As Barbara always said…….”No Worries”

    Luv Gayla

    Dear Fullmer family,

I was saddened to hear about Barbara from my mom. I have thought of her often even though we lost contact with each other over the last several years. I also have some good memories from our growing up time together. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.

  7. Jennifer Bates West :

    Dear Fullmer Family,
My mother and I were so saddened to hear of Barbara’s passing. My parents , Ron and Donna Bates were good friends to your parents and to so many others in the Calgary LDS ward.
Barbara was a dear friend to me back when we were young adults and had many fun and exciting adventures. I was pretty shy and she so exuberant and spunky. She helped to bring me out of my shell and taught me how to really enjoy and love life.
It is wonderful to see how many lives she touched here on this earth
    My sincerest condolences.

  10. Dale Duchesne :

It is with complete shock that I have just learned of Barbara’s passing. I worked with Barbara back at the RCMP Cochrane detachment. She was the epitome of the caring professional. She performed her duties there as the ‘matron’ with the utmost care and professionalism and she always showed compassion for her ‘charges’ as well. I remember her as an outgoing person with a great sense of humour and wit. I am truly saddened by her loss. I consider myself lucky to have known her. Barbara you will be truly missed.
