Kenneth MacKenzie Fraser, age 71, passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at the South Health Centre, Calgary, Alberta.
Ken was born on April 28, 1942 in Bassano, Alberta to Strang and Maud Henderson Fraser. He grew up on a farm in rural Alberta. Upon graduating from Cluny High School he completed a B.Sc. at the University of Alberta, Edmonton, and a M.Sc. at the University of Calgary in Chemical Engineering. He worked for several years as an engineer before taking over the family farm north of Cluny, following the death of his father.
He is survived by his sisters Betty Clemmons and Marlie Burton-Roche; two nephews Richard Clemmons and Strang Burton; four nieces Eleanor Dovey, Daphne Clemmons, Kim Burton and Catherine Burton; as well as four grand-nephews and nieces Rhys Dovey, Konrad Burton, Jasmina and Sara Ouadidou. Ken was predeceased by his parents, Strang and Maud Fraser and his brother Strang Henderson Fraser.
