Condolence Messages

  1. Mr. Fowler, Carlann, Neil, Heather and Gary
I was sorry to read today that Mrs. Fowler had passed away. We won’t say how many years it has been since I met Mrs. Fowler while attending university with Carlann. But from the first time I met her my opinion never changed. She was a lady. She will always be Mrs. Fowler to me because of the respect I had for her.
My thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

    Ian and Carlann,
Am so very sorry to hear of Dorothy’s passing. I remember her fondly. She was always so kind and thoughtful to Harold and me; and of course to our three boys. When I drive down Brookdale Crescent, I still think of our opposite houses as “your house” and “our house”…… such good neighbours.
    Take care all of you.

  8. Ivan and Jean Eriksen :

It was with great sadness to read of Dorothy’s passing. She was such a wonderful and gracious lady, even her beautiful fingernails were always beautifully painted. Ivan and I always remarked how both of you were always so happy with each other at Wine club or hiking events. Remember all the fun times together. Our hearts go out to you Ian and family. A small quote to help you through your sadness and to comfort you. “Tonight when you look up at the sky, don’t think of them as stars. Think of them as porch lights welcoming your loved one safely home.”
    Take care,
    Ivan and Jean Eriksen

  9. John & Jane Neal :

We were so sad to hear about the loss of Dorothy after so many years of happy and active life. Due to health, we are unable to attend the ceremony, but we shall remember with love the Lady (and her Husband Ian) who spent so much time with us at McDougall United, The P.O.W. Association, the Aircrew Association, and the Legion, and many other events.

God has called Dorothy home to be with him, and we believe his realm will be the better for her presence. Our regards also go out to Ian in the hopes that life goes well in his new solitude.

  10. Mena Scarcelli :

I had gone in to visit the girls at the hair salon that my father Peter had owned for many years when I heard about the passing of Mrs Fowler. I was very sad to hear of your loss. I have many many memories of Mrs Fowler as she was a client of the salon since I was a baby. I did have the honor of taking over the salon after my father passed away for a few years before we sold it to the girls there and I started my life with my huband and now am a mother of two children. I do remember looking forward to Mr and Mrs Fowler”s weekly visits to the salon where I would greet Mr Fowler with a hug and I had the pleasure of enjoying a coffee with Mrs Fowler every Friday. The conversations were always so nice and I always admired and looked up to the woman she was and the marriage and love she shared for Ian and her family. Mrs. Fowler was a remarkable woman and will be missed as she truly held a very very special place in my heart. May God Bless Ian and his family through this very difficult loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
