FORSYTH, Lois Anne

Lois Anne Forsyth (nee Kennedy) passed away in Calgary on Monday, November 10, 2014 at the age of 85 years.
Lois was born in Edmonton, AB and lived in Calgary since 1956. She trained as an X-ray Technician. She married N. Vere Forsyth on May 27, 1951. She was a long-time member of the Glenmore Sailing Club and she did extensive volunteer work at the YMCA, St. Philip’s and St. Peter’s Anglican Churches and the Rocky View Hospital. Lois was also a certified lifeguard and swim instructor.
Lois is lovingly remembered by her children Pamela Peard, Greig (Mary Ann) and William; six grandchildren Angela, Andrea, Sarah, Thomas, Lane and Claire and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Vere Forsyth
A Celebration of Lois’ Life will be held at St. Peter’s Anglican Church (903 – 75th Avenue S.W.) on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
