FORREST, Thomas “Larry” Lawrence

August 28, 1919 – Clover Bar, Alberta
September 23, 2014 – Calgary, Alberta

Larry beloved husband of the late Peggy Forrest of Cochrane passed away on September 23, 2014 at the age of 95 years.

Larry worked as a self-employed auto-body mechanic, for Palm Dairies and as a Pest and Predator Control in the County of Strathcona. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting, and trapping. As a football fan, Larry was an Edmonton Eskimo supporter. His words to live by were to “work to live, not live to work”.

Larry is survived by his sons Jim (Kim) Forrest of Cochrane, AB and Brian (Barb) Forrest of Waterloo, ON; and his grandchildren Kellen and Ethan. He was predeceased by his loving wife Margaret “Peggy” Forrest in 2014 and his siblings John, Greta and Vera.

A Memorial Service to be held in Edmonton at a later date. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. If friends so desire, memorial donation may be made directly to the Bethany Care Foundation in Cochrane or Meals on Wheels in Edmonton. Thanks to the Bethany Lodge in Cochrane for their care and concern in the past few months.
