FORREST – Jonathan Mark

September 29, 1985 – June 16, 2011

Jonathan Forrest, beloved son of Sharon Forrest, passed away suddenly at the age of 25.

He was born in Lethbridge, moving to Calgary just after his first birthday. He loved Calgary. He attended Father Damien, Holy Cross and Father Lacombe schools. He had a keen interest in politics which led to many an argument at home. He also spent many years in the scouting movement, from beavers, to rovers and eventually as a cub leader. Scouting gave him a view of the world with his many trips to Europe.

He will be sadly missed by his mother Sharon, his sister Sandy (Eric); nieces Victoria, Claire and nephew Matthew, and his cousins Melissa, Ryan, Mitchell and Jesse.

Jonathan was predeceased by his father Donald “Don” Forrest.

If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to The Brain Tumour Foundation, 620 Colborne St., Suite 301 London, Ontario, Canada N6B 3R9

So sorry to hear of Jonathon’s death. I knew him well when I was staff member at Fr. Lacome High School. Shortly after I retired our paths crossed once again via Liberal politics. He was such an ardent and enthusiastic Liberal supporter. He really enjoyed this phase of his life.
My sincere condolences to his loving and caring mom, Sharon, and to his sister Sandy.
