Ruby Jean Fong, beloved wife of George Fong of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 28, 2014 at the age of 84 years.
Ruby was born in Crossfield, Alberta. She carried out her early education in Victoria, BC, where she lived with her aunts. Ruby married George Fong and they lived in Calgary where they raised their family.
Ruby is survived by sons Larry and Brian; granddaughters Michelle and Patricia; her niece Trudy (Bob) Kliciak and brother Raymond (Loretta) Lee. She was predeceased by her loving husband George Fong, and younger brother Jack Lee.
A Celebration of Ruby’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at 2:00p.m. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, 6007 – 1A Street S.W.
