Ben Flahr, beloved husband of Marcelle Flahr of Cochrane, passed away on October 28, 2011 at the age of 78 years.

After this he returned to Calgary and primarily worked in oilfield services again with the addition of some business ventures. This he did until he became a business broker which he continued to do until his retirement in 2006.
