  3. Peggy and Erv Schieman :

We bought a house from Calbridge homes in 1985 and are still enjoying it! Not only did we have the pleasure of knowing Joe, we got to meet his father! We loved seeing Ray. Besides making adjustments here and there on our new home, he did the framing of our basement and built our fence. He was so much fun to talk to and his Italian accent was a delight. When he used to call us on the phone he would say ” do you a know a who this is?” We would say…Ray? And he would laugh. You will miss him very much and know you will have fond memories. We have fond memories and wanted to let you know he impacted our lives in his own way. Peggy and Erv Schieman

    Joe, Pete, Mary and Family,
I was so sad when I heard Ray had passed away. I have so many fond memories of him from my years at CalBridge. On more than one occasion I have shared a “Ray” story with friends and family. He will live in my heart always as he was the one that referred to my girls as “little girlos”, a phrase I still often use. I will remember him fondly and never forget that glint in his eye. He was a gem. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time.

I was so sorry to hear about Ray. I will always remember the chats that we had when I was at Calbridge. He did have some great stories! The one thing that I remember the most was his nickname for me, “mrs sunshine”. It always made my day when he called me that. He was truly a great person, and will be missed.
Our hearts go out to you and your family. Sue and Tim

  24. Frank Falzon and Family :

    Dear Ferraro Family,

I only learned today of the passing of your loving father, grandfather, uncle and cugino. I have such fond memories of Cugino Raymondo – a self-made man and a tough man, but always a smile and an open heart. I remember how close he was with my Nono Bruno and Nona Francesca. Even though they lived hundreds of miles apart, they were always close, in a way that people born here could never understand. I will light a special candle for Cugino at Mass tomorrow, and of course we will keep him, and all of you, in our prayers. Please accept our sincere condolences. Frank Falzon and family.
