    Daisy,
    Life…..so fragile, Loss….so sudden, Heart….so broken,…in the wake of such a loss, we are haunted by things we don’t, and may never understand. Yet the solace we seek may not come from answers. So we look for comfort in the belief of love’s everlasting connection. May that love lift you and hold you close, and give you peace.
    Please accept my condolences on the loss of your son. You are in my thoughts and prayers

  9. Daisy it’s with a very heavy heart that I send this message!!! I am so saddened and shocked to hear of your tragic loss. Anthony was a huge part of our lives for his childhhod years when we lived in Calgary. David and Anthony were like brothers always inseperable. Those two boys always enjoyed their friendship while skate boarding, snow boarding, playing hockey or being crative with their love and passion for grafitti art. I remember all the sleep overs and yes times when I got mad with them for being crazy little boys. I so wish we could be there in person for you but please know you are in our hearts, thoughts and prayers!!!! David is taking this news very hard but as I told him this morning Anthony would want him to live his life and smile when he thought of him as that’s what I remember about Anthony the most his BIG BRIGHT SMILE! Daisy I can’t imagine what you are going through but please know Anthony loved you more than life it’s self!! He adored and admired everything you did for him and more importantly how much you loved and will always love him! Sending lots of kisses and hugs to you from Newfoundland. Be strong my friend and treausre all those wonderful memories!!!! Love Karen, Chelsea and mostly importantly Anthony’s life long friend David Legge St. John’s, Newfoundland

    .:::The Rose Beyond the Wall:::.
    @—>->— @—>->— @—>->—

    Near a shady wall a rose once grew,
    Budded and blossomed in the Sun’s light,
    Watered and fed by the morning dew,
    Shedding it’s sweetness day and night.

    As it grew and blossomed fair and tall,
    Slowly rising to loftier height,
    It came to a crevice in the wall through,
    which there shone a beam of light.

    Onward it crept with added strength,
    With never a thought of fear or pride,
    It followed the light through the crevice’s length,
    and unfolded itself on the other side.

    The light, the dew, the broadening view,
    Were found the same as they were before,
    And it lost itself in beauties new,
    Breathing it’s fragrance more and more.

    Shall claim of death cause us to grieve,
    and make our courage faint and fall?
    Nay! Let us faith and hope receive–
    The rose still grows beyond the wall,

    Scattering fragrance far and wide,
    Just as it did in days of yore,
    Just as it did on the other side,
    Just as it will forever more.

  17. Dear Ms. Fernandez and family,
    My sincere condolences on the death of Anthony. I taught Anthony when he was in Grade 5 at Holy Cross, and remember him to be very proficient in math and science, often helping other students if he finished his work early. I will remember his smile and sense of humour too. Later, when he was at Father Lacombe, as was I, I saw him often and he would stop by my classroom to just say hi, again with a big smile. At the mass today at St. Mary’s cathedral, I saw first hand his many friends that he went to school with showing their love and support for your family. I hope these few words of remembrance will bring you some comfort.
