  2. Loretta Young :

It is with deep sadness that I send this across the miles from Cheshire, England. Marie was a dear friend of mine. We shared many sports together – hiking, snowshoeing, biking, dragon boating. I benefited from her willingness to try anything, particularly those involving the outdoors. Her love of books (new books) was infectious and we spent many airwaves sharing titles and contents.
My precious friend will be missed; a caring void created.
Farewell my friend. I will cherish those happy memories.
    With much love,
    Loretta

Our heartfelt condolences on the loss of your sister, sisterinlaw, and aunt. Marie was an incredible friend and we shall always miss her. We loved her quiet but quick wit and respected her for her commitment in any task or sport she undertook. We will fondly recall each hike in the beautiful mountains or foothills that we shared together. Marie touched our hearts and our lives have been truly blessed having Marie in our lives for 14 years.
