Robert (Bob) Eve, beloved husband of Kathleen Eve of Calgary, passed away at home on Thursday, December 16, 2004 at the age of 90 years.
Bob was proud to be a native Calgarian. He was born in what is now Erlton Station, and attended the Cottage Erlton School and Ramsay School. Bob worked as a Salesman and later a Manager of Western Vinegars for thirty-two years. He served in the R.C.A.F. as a Leading Aircraftsman from 1941 to 1945. He loved to golf, curl, camp, and even caught a fish or two. Mostly, he enjoyed exploring the Western Slopes with Katie, his best friend and wife of sixty-three years.
Bob leaves to mourn a wonderful wife; a brother; a son; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four nieces and nephews. Service to his friends and community were important to him and he will be missed by the Southwest Seniors, Heart to Heart, #285 Legion, Calgary Food and Associates, and the Native Calgarian Society, all of which he was connected to.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Tuesday, December 21, 2004 at 12:30 p.m. with the Rev.
