ERSKINE, Janice Catherine

January15, 1961 – March 25, 2012

It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the loss of Janice Catherine Erskine who passed away on March 25, 2012 after a lengthy battle with cancer at the age of 51 years.

Janice had completed her certification for PCA but unfortunately did not have the opportunity to pursue employment in this field as she was once again stricken with cancer.

Janice is survived by her Mother Doreen; daughter Kayla; and long time partner Graham; sisters Linda (Rick) and Doreen (Ken); brothers David, Charles (Cathy), Christopher, Campbell (Jackie); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and close family friends.

She was predeceased by her father Jerry in 2006.

A Memorial Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E., Calgary, AB) on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the MEOW Foundation, Box 65024, RPO North Hill, Calgary, AB T2N 4T6

I remember Janice when she was on our floor at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre Unit 47 , what a delight it was to come in and see her smiling and laugh even when the days were rough .
