  6. Trevor and Christine Wignall :

    Dear Nadia,
We were so sad to hear of Stan’s passing. We read about it as we were flying to California where we’re spending a few weeks. We’re sorry we won’t be there for Stan’s funeral. We both liked and respected him. Even though we haven’t seen you for ages we do hear about you from Tracey.
As you may know Lisa has a little girl named Elizabeth. She’s four already but one of my favourite photos of her is on my fridge. She’s wearing the little blue blouse that you gave to Lisa when she was a baby. I don’t like to think about it but Lisa is forty in two weeks. Where did the time go when we were young and so far away from home. Maybe when we get home we can get together and have a visit. Both Trevor and I hold you in high regard. We send our sincere sympathy and wish we could be there. Love Christine and Trevor

  8. Grant and Irene Campbell :

Nadia: We were so sorry to hear about Stanley passing. I spoke to Rose Case not long ago and she said he had not been well. I know we haven’t kept in touch, but we often think about you both and the fun we had on our trip through Europe with Carol and Harvey Bickel in 1967. Our loving thoughts are with you at this time of grieving.
    Love Grant and Irene

  9. Larry and Marie Pearce :

    Dear Nadia,

Uncle Stan will be dearly missed, he was such a joy to be with. We enjoyed his sense of humour and respected his thoughts and opinions. I remember when I was a little girl and stayed a week, during summer vacation, with you and Uncle Stan in Drayton Valley. One evening he took me to an ice cream drive-through and bought me my first Chocolate Dipped Ice Cream – it was wonderful – and a happy memory. Sincere condolences.

    Dear Nadia
Stanley will always be respected and remembered by us for all the great times we had when we got together in Alberta and your visits to Ontario. You lived a very fascinating life with him abroad and at home as we recall some of the stories he told of his adventures during his lifetime. Stanley was a kind man and I’m sure you will miss him very much. Accept our condolences at this time of grieving. Take one day at a time and exploit your new chapter in life.
