Jacobus (Jack) Ellenbroek, beloved husband of Wilhemina Ellenbroek (nee Timmer) of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2013 at the age of 86 years.
Born in Apeldoorn, The Netherlands, Jack served with the Dutch army from 1950 to 1953. In 1954, he immigrated with his new bride Wilhemina to Calgary where he started his own painting and decorating company. Jack loved Calgary, Banff and the Mountains. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Besides his loving wife Wilhelmina, Jack is survived by his sons, Timothy (Margaret) and Brian; and grandchildren, Christine, Matthew and Jonathan. He is also survived by his brother Jan (Im); a sister Nellie and numerous nieces and nephews.
