Sophie was my neighbor, and I had some of the most amazing conversations with her, just standing at the front door in the summer sunlight. She led an amazing life and touched many, many people. It was a great honor to know her for the short time I was able. Condolences to her family in this hard time.

  8. Kathy Denesyk :

Our thoughts are with you at this time. I have so many wonderful memories of my Great Aunt Sophie! The times I would be on a “road trip” with a friend and end up in Calgary needing a place to crash — there was always room at Aunt Sophie’s place for me and the extra body! Our medical talks – nurse to pharmacist – because she always wanted to stay up-to-date. And of course how much time she spent in Prince Albert when my Dido was not well using her nursing skills to care for him. She was truly a very special woman!

We are so sorry we could not attend the funeral services. We send our love and prayers to you all.

    Kathy and Dan
