EASTMAN BOND, Lois Margaret Louisa (nee Turriff)

Surrounded by the love of family and friends, Lois Eastman Bond (nee Turriff) passed away. Lois was the beloved wife of the late Arthur Leet Eastman (Montreal) and the late Richard (Dick) Norris Bond (Calgary).

Lois will be greatly missed by her daughter, Jane Eastman-Miller, son-in law David Miller and their children, Travis and Melissa, as well as the Bond family; Stephen and Catherine Bond, Carolyn Bond and Luc Salvadore, Barbara Bond, Doug and Linda Bond and Beth and Brook Zais and all their families.

To honour Lois’ life, Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W. Calgary, AB) on Friday, June 14, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place at the family plot in Mt. Royal Cemetery in Montreal. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers please make a donation to the charity of your choice. Special thanks to all the family and friends who visited, supported and stood vigil and to Norma Lougheed, whose loving care of Dick and Lois over the last 10 years was exceptional.

    Dear Jane,
    I regret having lost touch with you and your mother in recent years. My wife and I visit Shediac quite often, and I always remember your mom and grandmother telling stories about taking the train between Shediac and Montreal.
    That was long before I moved to Fredericton in 1960, and in 2006, to Riverview. I’ll be thinking of you on Friday.
