May 3, 1930 – April 4, 2012
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our mother and grandma Julie Earle.
Julie grew up in Tomahawk and Fallis, AB. She met and then later married Bruce Earle December 5, 1949. They resided in Edmonton until 1968 before moving to Calgary. Julie and Bruce started Canuck Amusements in 1976. She was an integral part of the business, and was active until her passing. Julie will be missed by many of her customers and staff.
Julie is survived by her children, Dan (Julie), Heather (Gerry) Knight, Doug (Sandi), and David (Lisa); her grandchildren, Ryan, Dean, Shelby, Logan, Cameron, and Delaney; brothers, Henry Wilkie and Hugh Wilkie; sister Lou Earle; sister-in-law Burniece Wyness; brother-in-law Lloyd Earl; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Bruce, her brother Robert Wilkie, sister-in-law Vicki Earle and brother-in-law Art Earle.
Julie was considered by many as a second mom. Her devotion to her family and friends was unequaled. She will be greatly missed for her guidance, strength and her strong sense of family that she so proudly gave us. She will be remembered always.
