DUMONT, Margery Helen

Margery Dumont passed away on June 5, 2013 of heart failure at the age of 88 years.

Margery Dumont (nee Henry) was born and raised in Del Bonita, AB. In her early twenties, Marge moved to Calgary to take a position with Royalite where she met her husband Ted. They married in 1951 and proceeded to have five children. They remained in Calgary until 1974 when they relocated to Denver, CO for Ted’s work, then returned in 1979 and remained here until her passing. Marge was very athletic from an early age, being an awesome baseball player, avid golfer and bowled in the same league for 35 years. Bridge & cards were another love that Marge enjoyed with many. She loved family and friends and led a very active social life.

Marge is survived by four children; D’Arcy (Jo-Ann), Dale, Stephen and Richard (Kelly), adopted family Ivan (Ann), seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren: siblings, Irene Berezay, Edgar Henry, Noreen Weiss and in-laws Lena Henry, Flo Bickerton, Margaret Dumont, Helene Pawson and Al(Tina) Dumont, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her son Robert in 1970, husband Ted in 2001, brothers; George and Howard Henry and sisters; Kathleen Jensen and Verna Newton.

The family would like to thank the remarkable staff at Rockyview Emergency for their exceptional care and compassion, with special thanks to head nurse, Ken.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.
