He is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife of fifty-one years, Leona, son Wes (Koreen), daughters Shelley (Gary) Redekop and Carri (Toby Cassidy). He will be fondly and lovingly also missed by his grandchildren Chantel & Kimberly Dueck, Morgan (Bradley) Hamm, Kelsey,Sydney & Mitchell Redekop. John was a man who loved his God and because of his health when sleep evaded him, spent many hours praying for his children and grandchildren and many others who God placed on his heart. Although he lived with his illness for so many years, he never doubted God’s presence in his life, and knew there was an unseen purpose. He was a man of faith.
