Condolence Messages

  1. You will never be forgotten Hai. I only knew you a short while but in that time you made me laugh, covered a portion of my walk for me, happily looked at pictures of my dog and genuinely cared about those around you. I’ve been covering your walk at CP and I hope you know how loved you were by the people who’s mail you delivered. I’ve been greeted by many tearful customers this week. You touched the lives of many.

I want to offer my sympathy on the passing of Michael. I was so shocked and saddened to hear the news. I did not know him but he delivered mail to my home and we had many short talks and joked about my dog being so upset with him. He was a very nice man and I thought he was sweet and gentle.

  5. I was very saddened to hear of Hai’s tragic death. He and I were coworkers way back in the ’90’s in Mech at Canada Post and continued to work together for 5 years as Casuals. We were at the bottom of the Casuals list together, and we often joked that we would always be Casuals. I also worked again with him in Depot 1 when he began lettercarrying. Hai was a gentleman. He had a gentle spirit, and was very soft spoken. He always treated everyone with respect. He would always talk to me about his sister Christine. She was the light of his life. He was very dedicated to her. I was very proud to have known him because of that dedication.

Please accept condolences from myself and my husband, Ron, who also worked with Hai. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone in the family. So very sorry for the loss of your son, brother, cousin, friend to many, and coworker. You will be sadly missed Hai. RIP.

Michael delivered our mail everyday and we often saw him around the neighbourhood while we were out walking. He always had a kind smile and a “Hello”. When we saw him outside of our house he would always give the mail to my two young sons who thought it was so fun to get the mail from him. He will be missed in the neighbourhood (Altadore).
