DRAPER, Ruth Lorna

September 18, 1953 – Edmonton, AB
June 12, 2014 – Calgary, AB

Ruth Draper, beloved wife of Pat Dyer of Calgary, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at the age of 60 years.

In spite of the best efforts of the Tom Baker Cancer Center, Ruth passed away from her illness in the compassionate care of the Rosedale Hospice. Unfailing support and love from her husband, best friend and soul mate Pat Dyer, step son Justin, sister Margo McCarthy, and brother Morris Draper with wife Susan and sister in law Maureen Mailath (nee Dyer) made her journey a soft and gentle one. Thanks to all the nieces, nephews, and friends, too many to mention, who were always there for support. There are a few special friends who were consistently with her – thank you so very much for all that you did.
