Dear Abby, Paulo, Veronica and the siblings,
The death of your mom gave me great memories of my parents visiting your late
dad and mom at their shop in Dar on a virtual daily basis in the evenings. I would
occasionally “pop” in after I completed my journalistic tasks and before I went to
the DI to play badminton. That’s when I greatly got to know your fantastic and very
graceful parents. And I cannot forget the occasionnal Sunday afternoon sessions at
your home; for in addition to the great “booze”, I got to sample some of your mum’s
succulent dishes. You will surely miss your mom, but your greatest legacy would be
remember the sacrifices and the great upbringing she and your dad gave u all.
Rest in Peace, Carmina Dourdao. You gave it all. RIP. Edna n Tony Barros, New Jersey,USA
