June 7, 1934 – July 31, 2011
Dorothy Dobson of Calgary passed away at age 77 early Sunday morning after a brief battle with cancer.
A wonderful lady with only love for family and friends, always ready with a new recipe or the standard warm monkey buns for gatherings and parties. The talented one who knitted wonderful sweaters for children that are almost too special to wear. The caregiver putting the needs of others before herself without hesitation. The gambler who loved putting a bet or two on the ponies while spending an afternoon with friends. The wife and mother who never lost faith in her family. The sister who listened and loved, and finally the friend that we all needed and were blessed with.
Remember her with a smile today
She was not one for tears
Reflect instead on memories
Of all the happy years
Dorothy is survived by her children Karen (Ron) Tocher, Keitha (Kevin) Stuckert and Chris (Nicole) Dobson; her granddaughters, Kessa and Kayla Stuckert; Her sisters Shirley Carnahan, Marion Vincent and Greta Cummings; sister in laws Betty Dobson and Joan Roche as well as many very special nieces and nephews and their families.
