July 24, 1954 – Maryfield, Saskatchewan
January 12, 2015 – Calgary, Alberta
Melva Dick beloved wife of Brad Dick of Calgary, went to be with her Lord on January 12, 2015 at the age of 60 years.
Mel was our Princess, living in a household full of men. She loved life, her family, and friends; she put a memorable smile on many people’s faces. Mel was the epitome of a servant heart; whether it was having people over for a special meal or making sure that favourites were made for her guests. Her love for family and friends was shown through her loyalty and accommodating nature to make sure that everyone was taken care of even if it meant being an inconvenience for her. Mel was enthusiastic and dedicated in her work as a cosmetic marketing rep with L’Oreal. Her devotion and love for the Lord brought peace in the midst of the many hurdles she faced these past ten years.
Besides her loving husband Brad, Mel is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law, Joel, Chad and Desdemona, and Jeffrey and two very special granddaughters, Leila and Mariah. She is also survived by her Dad, Ken Moore, three sisters and brothers-in-law, Gayle and Laurie Robinson of Saskatoon, Dawn and Greg Hockaday of Calgary, and Wendy and Hugues Kalousek of France; a brother and sister-in-law Randy and Sheri Moore of B.C; and many other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her mother, Merle Moore.
Funeral Services will be held at First Alliance Church (12345 – 40th Street S.E.) on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
