With sadness we announce the passing of our mother on Tuesday, February 17, 2015.
She was born in Lanciano, Chieti and immigrated to Canada in 1957. Anna Maria was an extraordinary seamstress and loved to crochet and knit. She was an active member of the Italian Club and won a few Bocce trophies in her day.
Anna Maria was extremely proud of her family and is survived by her son and daughter Luigi and Antonella; granddaughter Dominique (Louie); and grandson Nico. She was predeceased by her loving husband Pierino ten months ago.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North) on Monday, February 23, 2015 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Catholic Church (1714 – 14th Avenue N.E.) on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Mausoleum. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
