DeMELLO, Carlota “Caroline” Olivia

November 29, 1924 – March 13, 2013

Caroline DeMello of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at the age of 88 years.

Caroline’s passion was gardening and sports but most important to her was her family and Faith. She always remembered the less fortunate.

She will always be remembered by her children, Mavis (the late Harshi) Kochar, Merlyn (Gino) Abreo and Desmond (Anne) DeMello; four grandchildren, Dr. Nigel Abreo (UK), Ryan Abreo (Toronto), Richard and Karen DeMello (Australia); sister-in-law Bebiana Pereira (UK); and numerous nieces, nephews and family around the world. Caroline was predeceased by her loving husband Peter DeMello.

Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church (1600 Acadia Drive S.E.) on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church (1600 Acadia Drive S.E.) on Monday, March 18, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Family Graveside Service to follow at Union Cemetery.
