Condolence Messages

  1. Rena Southwell :

Joan, Judy, Brian, Tracy and extended family,
Kelly and I want to say how sorry we are for your loss. We certainly enjoyed the times that we spent with Vic. He enjoyed sharing his life experiences and always chuckled as he told his stories. We will remember him surprising Tracy on her 40th birthday, and singing his song by the fire pit, with a big smile on his face, a sparkle in his eyes and a big cheers after. Cheers to Vic….he will be remembered

  2. It is with a heavy heart I tap on these keys, my thoughts are with you as you lay your loved one to rest. Let the days ahead be filled with wonderful memories each of you shared with Vic throughout his lifetime. I came across this quote from an unknown author “Grief is the most available untapped, emotional resource for personal transformation. We don’t just get over our grief. Instead, we change our relationship to it.” Time has a way of doing this. Let the tears flow to wash away the sorrow and the laughter you share when reminiscing heal your hearts.

  3. Dear Aunt Joan, Tracy, Brian, Judy and families:
We were deeply saddened when we learned of Uncle Vic’s passing. We came to know him as a true, salt-of-the-earth man, full of great stories, wit and good humour. Our vision of him will always include his mischievous grin and twinkle in his eyes. Please know that our sincerest thoughts of love and support are being sent your way today and always. With much love from Edmonton…Terry, Sharon and Tyler Emslie.

Dear Aunt Joan, Brian, Judy, Tracy and families. We just wanted to let you know how sad we were to hear of Uncle Vic’s passing. He was a true gentleman and remarkable man. We will always remember his great stories and witty sense of humour. Our thoughts are with you all. Sorry we could not make the service today as we are presently in Mesa, Arizona. It was really nice talking with Brian, Tracy and Aunt Joan the other night. Hopefully we can all connect sometime this summer.
