Aloysius Cornelius Johannes De Vetten, beloved husband of Clasina Johanna Marie De Vetten of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at the age of 77 years.
Louis immigrated to Canada in 1956 with his brother, Simon. It was in Calgary, that he met Ina Groot, and the two became married on October 4, 1957. Throughout his life, he worked as a plumber, and later worked for CP Rail until his retirement in 1996. He was always a very loving and generous family man. He had a passion for helping out his apprentices and helping people make a new start in calgary. He loved his family very much.
Besides his loving wife, Ina, he is survived by his four children Ray and daughter-in-law Gwen, Marilyn and son-in-law Ken, Cynthia and son-in-law Alan and Jack and daughter-in-law Margaret; twelve grandchildren, and his siblings in Canada and Holland.
Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at St. Lukes Catholic Church (1566 NORTHMOUNT DRIVE N.W..), on Sunday, May 11, 2014 at 5:00 p.m.
