  22. I wish to extend my condolences to the Day family.
The loss of Ric is indeed tragic and sorrowful.
Despite only knowing Ric as a co-worker, he always instilled a sense of integrity and respect. To the lucky few that knew Ric as a close friend, I can only imagine the sense of loss they must feel. For he is one of those rare individuals, whereby the sphere of influence we call our world has been lessened that much more. I for one consider myself very fortunate to have known Ric for the brief time I have worked with him and I know the qualities of humanity he possessed and shared with the rest of us will be carried forward and remembered for the rest of our lives.
    May he rest in peace.

Tracy, life doesn’t make sense at many moments in our life. The pain we go through when we lose someone we love never goes away, it just fades. We will never make complete sense at a loss of this degree. May the love that surrounds you and your family give you strength in the days ahead and know that Ric was loved and will be truly missed. May he forever rest in peace.

Truly such a sad loss. I worked with Ric throughout the last decade at Symcor both in Mississauga, and in Calgary on various projects. He was always so positive, polite, upbeat, and had a terrific sense of humour. He was a real family man and proudly spoke of his wife and daughters. A true gentlemen. I feel lucky that I had the privilege of knowing him.

I was so sadden to hear of Ric’s passing. My condolences to his wife, his girls and his whole family. May you find the strength to get through this trying time.

It is tough to see someone we love go, but I hope he has found some peace and wish his family all the best during this difficult time.
