October 23, 1919 – April 16, 2013
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Clarence (Casey) Davis on Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at the age of 93 years. Clarence was born at Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, coming to Alberta in 1929, later settling at Butte. In 1954 he and Joan married; they treasured 59 years together.
Clarence worked for the Federal Government in Calgary and Edmonton until his retirement. Clarence and Joan retired to Calgary and enjoyed many trips; traveling often to the mountains, and throughout Canada. They pursued their passion for Alberta and family history through the Southern Alberta Pioneers and their Descendants, and the Historical Society of Alberta. Clarence was a member of King George Lodge for 48 years.
He will be dearly missed by his wife Joan, son Glenn, daughter Ann (Stephen), and grandchildren Madison and Alex.
