DAVIDSON, Lyla Delphine

April 10, 2014 – Calgary, Alberta

Our loving mother, Lyla Delphine Davidson, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 90 years of age.

Lyla spent her childhood, first in Cadillac, Saskatchewan and then in Rolling Hills, Alberta. She graduated as a nurse and married Russ Davidson in 1948. She loved nursing, dancing, having fun and her family most of all.

She is survived by her brother George Wallace; daughters, Laurie (Gary) Staples and Carie (Chris) Frederick; grandchildren, Jennifer, Jodee, Ashley, Amber, Andrea, Darcie, Jessica, Tyler, and Duke; and eleven great-grandchildren. Lyla was predeceased by her husband Russ; her son Tom; and her special friend Roy.

We will all miss her greatly, especially her laughter.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
