DAVIDSON, Eileen Muriel (nee Easton)

May 30, 1932 – April 3, 2012

Eileen Muriel Davidson (nee Easton) born May 30, 1932 in Edmonton grew up and completed schooling there, except for one year in Calgary as a pre-teen. Her parents Reg and Ethel were well known in the Edmonton business community. Among other interests, she was a C.G.I.T. leader in Edmonton, skilled ice skater and comptometer operator. She married Bob Davidson in 1952 and bore two sons, Robert (Patricia), then Murray (Jacqueline) before moving to Calgary in 1957 with her husband and sons. She and Bob had their daughter, Karen, here in Calgary, where they lived and enjoyed their many friendships and all else that Calgary offers; especially bridge and skiing.

On April 3rd, she left Bob and her children, sister Carol from St. Albert and brother Jack from Edmonton; grandchildren, Ashley, Andrew, Jaime, Warren, Michael and Jordan and many friends and relatives across Canada and the USA. She requested special adieus to her bridge partners.

A Celebration of Eileen’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W. Calgary, AB) on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. 2. WES STEPHENS :

Davidson Family – Bob,have thought about you and Eileen many times in the recent past. Illness is tough on everyone, and words cannot express the emptiness of the final passing. Eileen was a very gracious lady,in accepting us into her home, and often met the band each Tuesday night – “thru wind and rain, sleet and snow”and even when she had a “night out” she was there to comment on the band, and was always helpful.
    Sincere Condolences
    from Wes and Gene Stephens

  8. My deepest sympathies for your loss. Eileen and I met in grade seven and became friends. Although we have not been in touch for many years I have thought of Eileen often as she introduced me to Beta Sigma Phi which has been an important part of my life. She was a great friend. We enjoyed time together even when looking after Carol and Jack.
