  2. Michel Gibson, Mayor of the Town of Kirkland :

On behalf of the Kirkland Town Council, citizens and employees, please accept our heartfelt condolences for the loss of a great Kirklander, colleague and friend. Many fond memories come to mind when thinking of Bill touring our streets in his shiny white Cadi, sharing words of wisdom and encouragement with one and all…

His legacy will live on through the Kirkland street and neighbourhood park fondly named after him, providing peace and tranquillity to the community he so dearly loved, forever and a day. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him but never will he be forgotten.

  4. June and Gordon Frezell :

Upon our marriage we moved to Kirkland in 1969 and are still living here 45 years later.Prior to that we were living in the Montreal area and discovered this lovely, what was then a country setting, close to the city. Our discovery took place in the mid sixties when my sister, husband and children moved from Ontario to the lovely Mountain View Drive where Bill and Glenys Dance lived with their children Paul and Barbara. The Dances were the first people we all met,and they were wonderfully friendly and hospitable, making my sister and her family feel very welcomed and at home.

Bill was a leader in our community and a good friend. Glenys, thank you for opening your home to us and for your generosity of spirit.

Our sincerest condolences to you, Barbara and family. Fondly, June and Gordon Frezell and family.
