  3. Allison Sutherland :

When I saw Karen’s picture in the obituaries today I knew that I knew her from somewhere but I couldn’t place her. I just knew that she was a friendly lady who was a very nice person. Then I realized that I knew her from the story-times all 3 of my kids had attended at the Shawnessy Library. I just wanted to let you know that I appreciated all the care she put into those classes and that she came through as a genuinely nice person.

Auntie Karen was truly one of the kindest and sweetest people I have ever known. Not long ago she sent my new baby daughter a package with some wonderful books that are truly her favorites. She certainly knew her books. I will think of her when I snuggle my daughter close and read her stories before bed. Bruce , Katherine and family, we are thinking of you and send our love.
