We’ll miss you with all our heart’s grandma. You brought wisdom, strength, and passion to our family.

    You taught me…

    How to work hard

    That anything is possible

    How to believe

How to bake waffles, bread, and even play dough

How to pick blueberries and raspberries

    How to drive a tractor

    How to build a tree-house

    How to pick rocks

How to raise chickens and pigs

    And so much more…

But most of all you taught me how to have fun while doing it all.

I miss you grandma, but you will always live on in my heart, my soul, and in everything you taught me.
    Love, Martin

Our deepest sympathy to Bev, Barb, Sandy and families. Though the last few years were difficult for Tilly and for you, she is now at peace and the memories of what an amazing lady she was will comfort you. Tilly has always been part of my life and I have always admired her strength, determination and her many creative abilities. Her love of gardening, the many beautiful items she created over the years, her generous nature and the love she had for family and friends are just some of the many memories I have of her. I loved her wry sense of humor and her chuckle. Nobody could bake like Tilly and I remember going into her home being greeted by the smell of bread baking. I am glad she was part of my life and I will always be thankful for the many things I learned about life skills from her. Tilly was my “other” mother during my childhood and through to my adult years and her friendship with my mother remained steadfast their whole lives. She will be missed.

    Love Betty & family

We were sorry to hear of Tilly’s passing. She was a good neighbour when I was growing up in Bowness, and was a staunch friend to my Mom and Dad. Whenever we saw her in later years, she always had stories to tell of my brother, sister and myself growing up. Our sympathy goes out to Bev, Barb, Sandy and families.
