At home, overlooking her beloved mountains and surrounded by her family who loved her so deeply, Pat passed away on Wednesday December 13, 2006.
Left to mourn are her husband of forty-seven years Archbishop Barry Curtis; their children Michael (Debra), Jeffrey (Brigitte), Jennifer (Cyrus) and Alison (Jonathan). She also leaves her loving grandchildren Rachel, Rebecca, Jonah, Callum, Lukas and Georgia; her sister Phyllis Freeborn (Bruce); as well as many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Pat was a teacher, a marriage and family life educator, a spiritual director, a retreat conductor and a teacher of contemporary spirituality. Her life was blessed by her love of God, family and friends, her compassion, joy, infectious laughter and love of the outdoors.
