Molly Cropper of Calgary passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at the age of 80 years.
Molly was born in Calgary and lived her whole life in the inner city, mostly in Inglewood where she was an avid community member. Molly and Gerry were married September 3, 1949 and she was proud to have been married to Gerry for sixty years.
Molly is survived by her children, Jerine (Norm), David (Leslie) and Paul (Shelley); grandchildren, Stacey, Matthew, Benjamin, Iain and Wade Cropper; a brother Ed (Judy); three sisters, Marion, Lily and Violet; sisters-in-law, Pat, Sheila (Ken) and Kathleen; as well a large extended family.
She was predeceased by her husband Gerry Cropper on April 28, 2009; her parents Frances and Phillip Benny; brothers, Sam and Norman.
A Gathering will be held at The Alexandra Centre (922 – 9th Avenue SE, Calgary) on Saturday, January 19, 2013.
