  2. Brenda J. Duce :

I am so sorry to hear of Uncle Ken’s passing and offer my thoughts and condolences to Maureen, Ray and your respective families. I think of how we grew up together and our parents playing bridge almost weekly. From the obituary, I found out Ken was a landman and I never knew that. I am a 30 year landman and found it strange to find out now. Unfortunately I am going on vacation to the West Coast tomorrow and will not be able to attend the funeral and I really wish I could. I thought Ken was an honourable and kind man with a great sense of humour. I will miss him.

    With love,

    Brenda

Just had word from George Lipsett of Ken’s passing — and share the shock you all must have felt. Sounds like it was sudden and hopefully merciful. Although we did not see a lot of your mom and dad in recent years, to me they were very special people in my life, and I have a lot of very good memories of both of them. I will miss Ken’s great sense of humor and his ability to tell some great stories, even in his short Christmas greetings. We will be thinking of you on June 11 — and will be there in our thoughts and prayers. Please accept our sincere condolences and empathy!!
    Love
    Merv
