May 29, 1934 – June 24, 2012
It is with deepest sorrow that the family of Emilie Crispens announces her passing on Sunday June 24, 2012 at the age of 78 years.
Emilie was born in Dobrovolny, Germany on May 29, 1934 and came to Canada in 1952 on the Beaver Brae with her sister and mother. For any challenges in her life, she called upon the Angels to guide her and called upon them frequently on behalf of her friends and family. It appears the Angels cherished Emilie too, for they gathered her family in time to be at her side for her passing.
Emilie is survived by her sons Harry (Laila), Heinz (Kathey) and Gordon (Veronica); her grandchildren Carter, Tyler, Ricki, Russell and Angelina and her great-granddaughter Keannah. She is also survived by her special lifetime friend Gilles and sister Siegfrieda (Uwe); nephew Kevin, niece Andrea (Bill), and great niece Rachel, great nephew Alexander.
Emilie was predeceased by her brother Robert, mother Marie, and father Rudolph Hupp.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W. Calgary, AB) on Thursday, June 28, 2012 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
