Our beloved husband, brother, father and grandfather passed away at Rockyview General Hospital. After a valiant and complicated battle following a serious fall on Father’s Day, Don is finally at peace.

Don was born and raised in Moose Jaw, Sask. He attended Moose Jaw Tech, and had a long career as a mechanic and sales of construction equipment and concrete products. Don worked for RJ Fyfe Equipment in Regina, Vulcan Machinery in Calgary and Saskatoon, and D&R Companies in Okotoks. Don was a proud member of the Masons and of the Shriners. He loved flying his plane, golfing, hunting, fishing and camping, but most of all, he loved his wife and children.

Don is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Louise; his sister Barbara Moeller; his children Lorelle Crichton, Jill and Garnet Jones, Margo and Mark Robinson, Sheila and Bob Sander, Amy and Trent Cannell, Scott Crichton and Sylvane Quillien, and Todd and Carol Crichton. Don was a wonderful grandpa to Joel Crichton, Adam, Brett and Jen Jones, Michael and Nicole, Matthew and Stephanie, and Carissa Sander, HaleyRae and Mara Cannell, Chloe Crichton, and Mary and Robert Crichton. Don was predeceased by his parents, Minnie and Bill Crichton and his brother, Bob Crichton.
