Catherine “Cathie” Isobel Craib, treasured wife of David Craib, passed away peacefully at Southwood Hospice on Friday, April 26, 2013 at the young age of 68 years.
Cathie was born and raised in Toronto. After she married David in 1972 they lived in Kitchener for three years and Ottawa for sixteen years before relocating to Calgary in 1991. Cathie had a great love for children and operated a day home in Ottawa for many grateful parents. Cathie was blessed with many friends and was active in a variety of social groups. She and David have been able to indulge their desire to see the world with many overseas trips combined with extensive cruising.
Besides her loving husband David, Cathie will be greatly missed by her three sons, Thomas John, Ronald Ashley and David Mitchell; and her brother Philip Russell Wilson all of Calgary.
A Celebration of Cathie’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Friday, May 3, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
