  13. Diane Salahub :

    Dear Sue and Families,

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. I remember how she was always so cheerful and smiling, even when there were a large group of teenagers in her house. She could always make a joke about any situation that would make you laugh. She was also very determined. I remember when she was trying to lose weight and she told me she would walk from downtown to home after working at the Bay. I was amazed! I also remember talking with her and your dad, while they sat in their armchairs in the living room, when I would come over to pick up Sue to go out on a Friday night.

Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers at this time.

So sorry Uncle John I just discovered that Aunty Shirley passed away. If I had known, I would have definitely had been there to pay my respects. I regret that my mother did not keep in better touch with my father’s side of the family after he passed away, but my thoughts are with you and your (our) family.
