COTRONEO, Giorgio

January 18, 1950 – San Roberto, Calabria, Italy
November 8, 2017 – Calgary, Alberta

Giorgio Cotroneo of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at the age of 67 years.

Giorgio Cotroneo moved to Canada from Italy when he was 18, beginning his journey in Toronto with his brother and father, later moving to Manitoba, and then settling in Alberta. Giorgio drove trains and busses for the City of Calgary for over twenty years before retiring in 2013. He was always willing to lend a hand, had a good piece of advice to offer, and was consistently there to support his two daughters Morgan and Myriah.

He will be greatly missed by the community and his family, but through the memories he left behind, he will always be remembered by how joyous he could make others.
